The Fourth Day Of Holy Week

On this day our Lord remained in quiet meditation in Bethany, reflecting on, and preparing himself for, the ordeal he was soon to experience. In the evening he went to the home of Simon the leper. While there, a woman anointed his body with very expensive ointment, because of her deep and compassion for him, and Judas Iscariot bargained with the chief priests to betray Jesus to them for money.
