12th Lord’s Day after Pentecost

Heavenly Father, Your Son, Jesus Christ was sent into an earthly home of love to learn the ways of man.  We thank you for his home where he was trained up in the nurture and admonition of you.  We thank you for the example He set for us as a child, where He made it his business to learn about the Word of God as he debated with the spiritual leaders and thinkers of his day.  May we be inspired to seek after godly wisdom as He did.  Through the same our Lord Jesus Christ, who is alive and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, One God, now and forevermore. Amen
